Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to speak at a farmers’ conference in Datia district, unveiling numerous development projects worth millions on Tuesday.
Yadav will also tour exhibitions by various departments, distributing benefits from government welfare schemes to recipients. Additionally, he will inaugurate completed projects like a Sandipani School and a rest house at Pandokhar Dham, a local religious site.
The state government, led by the BJP, has designated the current fiscal year 2026-27 as the ‘Year of Agriculture,’ urging farmers to embrace modern technology for irrigation to boost production and income.
At a recent event in Agar-Malwa, Yadav emphasized the government’s focus on integrating agriculture with technology and value addition to enhance farmers’ prosperity. He highlighted the promotion of allied activities like animal husbandry and agro-based industries to boost farmers’ earnings.
Yadav underscored the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare, emphasizing the importance of extending affluence from fields to factories for true prosperity.
