Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav pledged full support to the business community, emphasizing the government’s dedication to addressing their concerns and fostering industrial growth statewide. Speaking at the ‘Entrepreneur Dialogue’ event in Burhanpur, Yadav affirmed the government’s solidarity with entrepreneurs, promising swift resolution of their issues. He recognized the pivotal role played by entrepreneurs in bolstering the economy and their ability to surmount challenges.
Efforts are underway to eliminate cotton duties, with a forthcoming initiative aimed at facilitating industrialists, as announced by the Chief Minister. Additionally, the state Cabinet has greenlit the establishment of a Trader Welfare Board at the district level to cater to traders’ grievances. Yadav outlined the government’s strategic focus, designating 2025 as the “Year of Industry” and 2026 as the “Year of Farmer Welfare,” with a concerted drive to enhance both sectors and create job opportunities.
Yadav highlighted the removal of outdated laws impacting traders and ongoing endeavors to address electricity-related issues through interdepartmental coordination. A new access road is in the pipeline to enhance connectivity for traders in the region, underscoring Burhanpur’s potential as a hub for industrial expansion. The Chief Minister also revealed plans for a Nimar Investors Summit to attract investments, emphasizing the government’s commitment to augmenting farmers’ income, boosting industry, and fostering employment prospects.
Reaffirming the administration’s dedication, Yadav expressed the resolve to collaborate closely with traders and industrialists to cultivate a conducive environment for growth in Madhya Pradesh.
