Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed that after a 500-year wait, the Hindu community is witnessing the ‘Pratishtha’ of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. He made these remarks at a religious event marking the second anniversary of the temple’s consecration ceremony. The event, held at Yova Sadan in Bhopal’s Malviya Nagar, was organized by BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma.
“Our society has endured a long struggle and made sacrifices for over 500 years to commemorate the second anniversary of Lord Ram’s temple. Celebrating this occasion in accordance with the Vedic system adds to its significance,” Chief Minister Yadav emphasized. He credited the realization of this religious event to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the Supreme Court’s historic directive.
Under the BJP-led state government, efforts are being made to promote religious and cultural activities among school children to instill life values. The anniversary celebrations of Lord Ram’s temple are scheduled for December 31 in Ayodhya, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath leading the ceremony.
Rajnath Singh is set to offer prayers to the idols of deities placed in the temples surrounding the parkota wall and sapt mandap. A total of 14 temples have been erected around Lord Ram Lalla. On ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’ on December 31, the deity will be anointed with ‘Panch ras’ and fifty-six dishes will be offered to Lord Ram Lalla as ‘bhog’. The idol of Lord Ram Lalla was consecrated at the Ayodhya temple on January 22, 2024.
