Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal for his leadership and dedication as he completed one year in office. Yadav commended Khandelwal’s simplicity, efficient work style, and contribution to strengthening the party organization. He expressed confidence in Khandelwal’s ability to lead the party to new heights.
Senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya also extended congratulations to Khandelwal. Vijayvargiya highlighted Khandelwal’s disciplined work ethic, organizational skills, and experience that have energized the party. He wished Khandelwal good health and continued success in his role.
Hemant Khandelwal assumed the role of Madhya Pradesh BJP president in July last year, succeeding V. D. Sharma. During his tenure, Khandelwal implemented various organizational initiatives, fostering direct engagement between Cabinet ministers and party workers. He actively defended the party during politically sensitive issues and controversies involving party members.
Khandelwal, hailing from a family with a strong BJP legacy, has been actively involved in politics. He transitioned from being an MP to state politics due to seat reservation changes. Khandelwal, who previously served as the BJP’s state treasurer, took over as the party’s state president on July 2, 2025.
