Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised Suvendu Adhikari for becoming West Bengal’s first BJP Chief Minister, marking a new era of governance, security, and development in the state. Yadav, along with other BJP leaders, attended Adhikari’s swearing-in ceremony in Kolkata. Adhikari, 57, took the oath of office in the presence of dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Madhya Pradesh CM Yadav emphasized that the people of West Bengal voted for progress, security, and public welfare. He expressed optimism that under PM Modi and Adhikari’s leadership, the state would see advancements in investment, industry, governance, and welfare programs. Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Shukla also met Adhikari to convey best wishes on behalf of the people of Madhya Pradesh, highlighting the public’s trust in development and effective governance.
Madhya Pradesh BJP President Khandelwal hailed the party’s victory in West Bengal as a tribute to the dedicated workers who persevered despite challenges. With Adhikari assuming office, the BJP has established its inaugural government in West Bengal, ending the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress.
