Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav commended Adi Shankaracharya for his significant role in uplifting Sanatan culture to new levels. Speaking at the ‘Sant Sammelan’ in Haridwar, he highlighted the deep connection between Shankaracharya and Madhya Pradesh. Yadav emphasized the collaborative efforts of saints and the state government to preserve the timeless Sanatan tradition.
Chief Minister Yadav, at the event organized by the Samanvay Seva Trust, invited saints to the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Ujjain, a major Hindu gathering held every 12 years. The religious program was attended by dignitaries including Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and other leaders also participated in the event.
During his visit to Haridwar, CM Yadav visited Patanjali Yogpeeth and engaged in yoga with Swami Ramdev. He lauded the global popularity of yoga under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, encouraging people to embrace yoga for a healthier lifestyle. Yadav expressed admiration for the peaceful and spiritually enriching environment at Patanjali Yogpeeth, where he also took part in prayers and rituals at the Bharat Mata Mandir for the welfare of all.
