Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla announced the state government’s efforts to ensure women’s health security from adolescence to motherhood. Shukla inaugurated the ‘Shakti Kendra’ – a comprehensive women’s health center at the Kailash Nath Katju hospital in Bhopal. This initiative aims to provide modern healthcare services under one roof to enhance women’s quality of life.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla highlighted the importance of women’s health in building healthy families and empowered societies. He praised the ‘Shakti Kendra’ as a crucial step towards raising awareness and empowering women. Shukla also mentioned the government’s commitment to expanding healthcare services through initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Health and State Nodal Officer Director, Rachna Dubey, explained that the ‘Shakti Kendra’ focuses on promoting health awareness and holistic healthcare solutions for women. The center offers services like cancer screenings, diagnostic facilities, and lifestyle consultations to address various health issues faced by women. Dubey emphasized the significance of early detection and prevention in women’s health.
