The Madhya Pradesh Home Department has made significant changes by reshuffling 62 IPS officers, impacting senior ranks and district postings throughout the state. Orders for these changes were issued late Saturday night. Ravi Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Special DGP Training and Director of the Police Academy in Bhouri, Bhopal. Rajababu Singh is now the ADGP Rail in Bhopal.
Solomon Yash Kumar Minz has been tasked with complaints, human rights, and welfare accounts. Amit Singh has been relocated to DIG Armed Force within the Indore Range, while Awadhesh Kumar Goswami is now the DIG at the police headquarters in Bhopal. Amit Sanghi has been reassigned to DIG Home Guard/SDERF in Bhopal.
Virendra Kumar Singh has taken over as DIG Narmadapuram Range, and Prashant Khare has returned to the police headquarters. Manish Kumar Agrawal is now posted at the DIG police headquarters in Bhopal. Manoj Kumar Rai, Riaz Iqbal, Rahul Kumar Lodha, and Simala Prasad have also been moved to DIG positions at the headquarters.
At the district level, various changes have been made with officers moving to different ranges and roles. For instance, Asit Yadav has shifted to Gwalior Range, Vivek Singh to Shahdol Range, and Shailendra Singh Chauhan to Additional Commissioner (Law and Order) in Bhopal.
