Madhya Pradesh’s Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Singh Patel has called on newly appointed Chief Executive Officers (Janpad Panchayat) and Block Development Officers (BDOs) to focus on achieving concrete improvements in rural governance. Speaking at a training program’s closing ceremony in Bhopal, Minister Patel emphasized the importance of delivering measurable benefits to the people. He underscored the need for clear objectives, effective planning, and teamwork at the grassroots level for successful governance.

During the event, Minister Patel interacted with the officers, discussing their postings, action plans, and anticipated challenges. He highlighted the significance of assessing their work based on its positive impact on citizens’ lives, stressing the importance of tangible outcomes. The Minister also emphasized the value of ongoing communication within the administration and with the public to enhance transparency and efficiency.

Encouraging the officers to remain dedicated, Minister Patel emphasized the alignment of responsibilities with individual capabilities to enhance performance. He urged them to commit to building a robust administrative foundation in their respective areas over the coming years. The training program provided officers with exposure to administrative processes, government initiatives, and practical field experiences, enabling them to better understand and address grassroots challenges.
