Director Puja Aparna Kolluru’s film ‘Mahakali’ in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) is now in its final shooting phase, according to industry sources. The mythological epic, designed for IMAX, has completed 125 days of shooting, offering audiences a grand cinematic experience with stunning visuals. Produced by RK Duggal and Riwaz Ramesh Duggal under RKD Studios, the film features Prasanth Varma as the creator and Puja Kolluru as the director.
Rohit Saraf has completed his portions in the film, marking a significant milestone in production. Akshaye Khanna, portraying Shukracharya, has finished filming his pivotal role, while Bhoomi Shetty plays the lead role of ‘Mahakali’. The movie boasts a star-studded cast from various industries, aiming to be a grand mythological spectacle in Indian cinema, blending spiritual essence with cinematic excellence.
