Maharashtra BJP State President Ravindra Chavan has revealed the party’s fresh state-level office-bearers to enhance the organization for the 2029 Assembly elections. The appointments encompass crucial roles such as Chief Spokesperson, General Secretaries, Secretaries, Vice Presidents, Treasurer, and heads of various party wings.
Chavan, while addressing the media, mentioned that the appointments were finalized after extensive discussions with the party’s central leadership, including figures like National President Nitin Nabin, Amit Shah, B.L. Santhosh, and Shiv Prakash, along with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other state leaders. The delay in the announcement was due to the enforcement of the election code of conduct and subsequent local self-government elections.
Emphasizing the internal selection process, Chavan highlighted that although numerous party workers have dedicated years of service, the opportunities for state-level positions are limited. He assured that those not appointed this time will be considered for other roles within the party’s different dimensions and through other wings.
The newly appointed office-bearers include Navnath Ban as the chief spokesperson, with vice presidents like Atul Kalsekar, Bharati Pawar, and others. General secretaries such as Niranjan Davkhare and secretaries like Mangesh Chavan have also been appointed. Additionally, Krishnaraj Mahadik, Chitra Wagh, Yogesh Tilekar, and Mihir Kotecha have been assigned roles in various party wings.
These appointments follow the BJP’s recent success in multiple elections, prompting the party to intensify efforts to achieve its ambitious goal of winning over 150 seats independently in the 2029 Assembly elections.
