Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticized the INDIA Bloc, stating that it was created solely to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi without a unified ideology. Fadnavis highlighted the political inconsistency and internal divisions within the opposition coalition. He emphasized that the alliance’s primary agenda was to remove PM Modi rather than focus on governance issues.
Fadnavis pointed out that the opposition parties were unable to challenge PM Modi due to his popularity and track record in governance. He noted that the people of India have consistently rejected negative politics, evident in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s success across the nation under PM Modi’s leadership.
Praising the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance’s victory in the Assam Assembly elections, Fadnavis attributed the success to the transformative changes brought about by PM Modi and Assam CM-designate Himanta Biswa Sarma. He expressed confidence in Assam’s continued development under Sarma’s leadership.
Fadnavis highlighted the political significance of the BJP’s growth in eastern India and emphasized the importance of the party’s win in West Bengal for the country. He congratulated Sarma ahead of his swearing-in ceremony, anticipating further progress and development for Assam under his leadership.
