Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed officials to revamp Dharavi following models of modern housing projects in Singapore and Hong Kong. He stressed the importance of retaining the essence of Dharavi, focusing on residents, their livelihoods, and local identity during the transformation. The Chief Minister highlighted that the Dharavi Redevelopment Project aims at the comprehensive development of the area, prioritizing the well-being of its inhabitants.
