He welcomed Vietnamese entrepreneurs to invest in the state during the India-Vietnam Business Forum in Mumbai. Fadnavis highlighted Maharashtra’s Buddhist heritage and proposed initiatives to boost tourism and business collaborations.
President To Lam emphasized the need for industry, technology, and trade leadership between India and Vietnam. He identified key sectors like electric vehicles, infrastructure, and technology services for future partnerships. The forum concluded with the signing of MoUs between industries from both nations, witnessed by President To Lam and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Fadnavis showcased Maharashtra’s potential in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, tourism, and IT sectors, inviting investments. He underlined the state’s capability to supply affordable medicines and vaccines to Vietnam. President To Lam stressed the importance of enhancing economic cooperation and trade facilitation to strengthen bilateral relations.
