Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the ‘Maharashtra Training Week’ as part of the ‘Tech Wari 2.0′ initiative, aiming to simplify citizens’ lives through technology. The event, organized by the General Administration Department (GAD), focuses on advancing citizen-centric administration through technology. Fadnavis stressed the importance of continuous learning in the rapidly evolving technological era.
Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar described ‘Tech Wari 2.0’ as a significant opportunity for employees to prepare for the future. She highlighted the initiative as a journey towards digital empowerment, emphasizing discipline, faith, and unity. Maharashtra secured the top rank in the national “Sadhana Saptah” initiative and leads in the “Mission Karmayogi” training programs.
Maharashtra Chief Secretary Rajesh Agarwal outlined that ‘Tech Wari 2.0’ aims to develop both the ‘Left Brain’ (analytical) and ‘Right Brain’ (creative) aspects. The focus includes AI, Data Protection (DPDP Act), and Project Management, integrating music, yoga, dance, and culture for mental well-being. The event features themes like ‘Taalrang’, ‘Naadrang’, ‘Yograng’, ‘Kalarang’, and ‘Sanskrutirang’.
Maharashtra GAD Additional Chief Secretary, V. Radha, shared program details, with 6,000 employees participating in person and over nine lakh employees across the state joining via live stream. An AI agent named “Vasudev” interacted with the audience, showcasing the efficiency of AI. The sessions cover topics such as Quantum Computing, Generative AI, Digital Public Infrastructure, and Ethics in Administration.
