Fadnavis expressed gratitude for PM Modi’s approval of a special package in 2015 that aided drought-affected regions in Maharashtra. This assistance facilitated the completion of vital irrigation projects in Vidarbha, Marathwada, and North Maharashtra. The Chief Minister credited PM Modi for cultural milestones and key projects that were long-delayed, emphasizing their significance for Maharashtra’s progress.
Fadnavis praised the central government for fast-tracking delayed mega-projects, including the Navi Mumbai International Airport and various metro networks. He highlighted the significance of upcoming projects like the Vadhavan Port and the expansion of the Amravati Textile Park. The Chief Minister also noted the transformation of Gadchiroli into a “Green Steel Hub” and its potential as a model for national development post-Naxalism eradication.
Amid climate change challenges and delayed monsoons, Fadnavis expressed confidence in Maharashtra’s resilience. He underscored the state’s determination, backed by the central government’s support, to continue its development trajectory.
