The aircraft carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, identified as a Learjet 45 with registration VT-SSK, crash-landed near Baramati. Onboard were Ajit Pawar, a personal security officer, an attendant, and two crew members. Unfortunately, none of the five occupants survived the crash.
The crash occurred during the landing attempt at Baramati, prompting immediate response from emergency services and local authorities. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.

Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s family, including his wife Sunetra and son Parth, rushed to the accident site from Delhi. The leader’s cousin and NCP-SP working president Supriya Sule also joined them.
Amid ongoing elections, Ajit Pawar was en route from Mumbai to Baramati for a public meeting. Emergency services and security officials swiftly responded to the crash site, deploying rescue teams immediately after the aircraft lost control during landing.
