Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar expressed her commitment to carrying forward the development plans of her late husband and former Deputy CM Ajit Pawar during her first official visit to Beed district. Following Ajit Pawar’s sudden demise, Sunetra Pawar took over his responsibilities and emphasized her dedication to fulfilling his vision for the region.
In a heartfelt address, Sunetra Pawar praised Ajit Pawar’s contributions to Beed’s progress and outlined upcoming projects to enhance the district’s development. She highlighted initiatives such as an IT project worth Rs 117 crore for skill education, ongoing railway projects for regional connectivity, and plans to expand healthcare facilities at Swami Ramanand Teerth Hospital in Ambajogai.
Sunetra Pawar also announced a substantial development budget of Rs 623 crore for Beed and the hosting of a state-level Volleyball tournament to promote sports culture. Encouraging active participation in the National Census, she reiterated the government’s commitment to social justice and progress, urging residents to work together towards a self-reliant and prosperous Beed.
