Technologists, policy leaders, artists, wellness practitioners, and experts from various sectors will gather at Mantralaya from May 4 to 8 for the Maharashtra government’s Tech-Wari 2.0 and ‘Journey Towards Future-Ready Governance’ initiative. More than 6,000 employees will attend in person, with an additional nine lakh participating via live streaming.
The Tech-Wari program emphasizes a holistic approach to workforce development, integrating meditation, yoga, mindfulness, music, and art alongside technical training. It aims to blend art, AI, and governance, underlining the importance of mental well-being and cultural grounding for effective public service.
Reflecting the spirit of the annual wari pilgrimage to Pandharpur, the Tech-Wari 2.0 initiative symbolizes a purposeful journey towards a future-ready government. Over five days, expert sessions at Mantralaya will cover topics like Digital Governance, Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, and Ethics in Governance, aligning with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ focus on employee development.
During the Maha-Sadhana Saptah in April 2026, over 8.8 lakh government employees in Maharashtra engaged in structured learning on the iGOT Karmayogi platform, accumulating 35 lakh hours of immersive learning in just seven days. This initiative underscores the state’s commitment to upskilling its bureaucracy and embracing a knowledge-driven approach to governance.
