Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik expressed support for the idea of Shiv Sena leaders, including Uddhav Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray, and Sanjay Raut, traveling together in Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s car. Sarnaik emphasized the fluid nature of political relationships, stating that no one is a permanent enemy or friend in politics.
Sarnaik criticized Shiv Sena-UBT MP Sanjay Raut for his remarks against NCP-SP Chief Sharad Pawar meeting Deputy CM Shinde. He highlighted the importance of maintaining cordial relations in politics, noting that Pawar’s visit to Shinde was a gesture of respect and mutual regard.
In response to Raut’s comments, Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande defended Pawar’s autonomy in decision-making, questioning Raut’s authority to advise the veteran politician. Kayande took a dig at Raut, implying that any discomfort he feels may be alleviated by Deputy CM Shinde in the future.
