The pan-Indian Malayalam film ‘Kattalan’, directed by Paul George and featuring actor Antony Varghese (Pepe) in the lead role, is scheduled to hit screens on May 14 this year. Cube Entertainments, the film’s production house, made the announcement via Instagram, stating that the movie will be released worldwide on the mentioned date. Previously, the film’s shooting unit had completed its Vagamon schedule.
The production house recently shared a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the crew’s work in Vagamon, along with announcing the release of the ‘Kattalan’ teaser on Jan 16, 2026. Notably, the film has garnered significant attention from fans and movie enthusiasts. Producer Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments, known for the hit film ‘Marco’, is behind this ambitious project, which is a high-octane action thriller directed by Paul George.
Antony Varghese and actress Rajisha Vijayan play the lead roles in ‘Kattalan’, which also features notable actors like Rapper Baby Jean, Telugu actor Sunil, actor Kabir Duhan Singh, and veteran Malayalam actors Jagadeesh and Siddique in key roles. The film’s story, penned by Paul George, Joby Varghese, and Jero Jacob, promises a gripping narrative filled with power, betrayal, and intense missions. With music by Ajaneesh Loknath and choreography by Sharief, ‘Kattalan’ boasts a talented team to bring the story to life on screen.
