The Malian Armed Forces successfully repelled attacks on various military positions in different regions of the country. The army confirmed that the incidents in Aguelhok, Anefis, Gao, Sevare, and Kenioroba were under control. In Sevare, 20 terrorists were killed, while in Gao, one soldier lost his life, and four others were injured.

Aerial and ground operations are ongoing to ensure the safety and security of the affected areas. The army mentioned that the attempted attacks were aimed at military positions in multiple locations. Mali has been grappling with a challenging security situation, especially in the northern and central regions, due to frequent attacks by armed groups.

In a recent operation near the capital, Bamako, the Malian Armed Forces eliminated over 60 terrorists in the Faya Classified Forest. The army conducted precise strikes targeting terrorist hideouts in the forest, resulting in the neutralization of a significant number of militants. The operations included destroying terrorist equipment and logistical assets to weaken their capabilities.
