In a disturbing incident in Delhi, a man has been accused of sexually assaulting his own 13-year-old daughter in the Jahangirpuri area. The accused is currently on the run, as per officials. A case has been filed under the POCSO Act after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Mahindra Park police station.
The victim’s mother mentioned that the accused, Shakir Ali, lives in Badli Village with her grandmother, while she and her younger brother reside in Jahangirpuri. The survivor alleged that on July 7, her father visited their home when her mother and brother were out. During this visit, he allegedly forced himself on her and threatened her against disclosing the assault.
Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the accused who is currently absconding. This incident follows a recent case where a man was arrested for sexually assaulting his 13-year-old stepdaughter in Delhi, resulting in the girl becoming pregnant. The police intervened, ensuring the girl’s safety, and investigations revealed ongoing sexual abuse by the stepfather.
