In Faridabad, Haryana, a man was arrested for the murder of his 4.5-year-old daughter after she couldn’t write numbers up to 50. The accused allegedly attacked the child in anger for this reason. He then falsely claimed to his wife that their daughter had fallen down the stairs while playing.
The child’s mother, upon seeing multiple injuries on her daughter’s body at the hospital, became suspicious. She reported the incident to the police. The Sector 56 Crime Branch team arrested the father after the mother’s complaint.
Krishna Jaiswal, the accused, lived with his family in Faridabad. He and his wife worked at a private company, having three children. The police revealed that Krishna was teaching his daughter at home when the tragic incident occurred.
The child, who was not attending school, was being taught by her father. When she couldn’t write the numbers correctly, Krishna lost his temper and assaulted her. The child was taken to a hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. The accused confessed to the crime during police interrogation.
