A 34-year-old man was fatally shot early Monday in Delhi’s Preet Vihar following a dispute over parking. The victim, Pankaj Nayyar, and his brother, Paras, engaged in a heated argument with Gaurav Sharma, which escalated into violence. Sharma allegedly fired at Nayyar during the altercation, resulting in Nayyar being declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m., with police subsequently registering an FIR against Sharma under various charges, including murder and possession of firearms. Nayyar’s body was taken into custody by the Preet Vihar Police for a post-mortem examination at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. Authorities have formed multiple teams to locate and apprehend Sharma swiftly.

In a separate incident on April 17 at Tara Apartments in Alaknanda, CR Park, a father and son were found dead, with another family member injured in an attack by a neighbor. The victims, Rakesh Sood (62) and Karan Sood (27), were fatally injured in the assault, allegedly carried out by their neighbor Asad. Asad was promptly arrested by the police following the attack.
