In a disturbing incident in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, a man reportedly used an axe to kill his wife, son, and daughter at their home in the Agrico area. The accused, identified as Ravindra Prasad Singh, retired earlier this year from a private company. The victims were his 55-year-old wife, Sarita Singh, his 31-year-old daughter Supriya Singh, and his 30-year-old son Ravishek Kumar.
After the killings, Ravindra Prasad Singh stayed inside the house with the bodies until the next morning. He then contacted the police himself, expressing his intention to surrender. Following his call, the police arrived at the scene, detained him, and initiated an investigation.
Preliminary reports suggest that the family had been experiencing internal conflicts for some time. Investigators believe that the accused, dealing with mental stress and irritability post-retirement, might have been driven to commit the gruesome murders. The community was left in shock and fear upon learning about the tragic incident.
Senior police officials, accompanied by forensic experts, visited the crime scene to gather evidence. The bodies were taken to MGM Hospital for post-mortem examinations. Authorities are conducting a thorough inquiry to determine the motive and sequence of events leading to the triple homicide.
