National Award-winning actress Manasi Parekh has revealed details about her upcoming Gujarati film “Mitrata,” centered on friendship, set to premiere on September 25 this year. The movie, produced by Manasi and her husband Parthiv Gohil under Soul Sutra Studios, showcases a poster featuring three friends bonding by the beach. Directed by Oneel Karnik, the film stars Deep Vaidya, Viraj Ghelani, and Vishal Parekh.
Manasi expressed her excitement on Instagram, highlighting “Mitrata” as their latest project following previous successes like Golkeri, Kutch Express, Jhamkudi, Shubhchintak, and Laalo. The caption in Gujarati emphasized the significance of special friendships that deserve a cinematic portrayal, with the post concluding with the film’s release date of September 25. Known for her roles in various TV shows and films, Manasi ventured into production with the Gujarati web series “Do Not Disturb” in 2019, followed by her debut in Gujarati cinema with “Golkeri.”
