Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola remains determined to compete for the Premier League title despite falling behind leaders Arsenal following a 3-3 draw with Everton. Guardiola acknowledged the challenges posed by Everton’s aggressive gameplay but emphasized the importance of securing a point in the match.

City initially led with a goal from Jeremy Doku but faced a setback as Everton scored three times in a short span, with Thierno Barry and Jake O’Brien finding the net. However, City staged a late comeback, with Erling Haaland and Doku scoring to salvage a point.

Guardiola expressed disappointment at losing the lead in the second half but commended his team’s resilience and fighting spirit. He highlighted the need to capitalize on scoring opportunities to secure crucial wins in the remaining games.

Despite the setback, Guardiola urged his team to maintain focus and prepare for upcoming matches, emphasizing the significance of each game in the title race.
