Manchester City secured a crucial 2-1 victory against Arsenal, moving within three points of the Premier League summit. Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland found the net for City, putting them in a strong position to challenge for the top spot. Despite a tense encounter, City’s win leaves them just behind Arsenal in the standings.

Cherki’s impressive goal early in the match set the tone for City, but a quick response from Arsenal’s Kai Havertz leveled the score. The second half saw City dominate, with Haaland’s goal ultimately sealing the win. City now has the opportunity to claim the top spot with an upcoming match against Burnley.

Liverpool clinched a dramatic 2-1 victory over Everton, with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk making significant contributions. Salah’s goal put Liverpool ahead, while Van Dijk’s late header secured the win. The victory keeps Liverpool in contention for a place in the Champions League next season.

Aston Villa emerged victorious in a thrilling 4-3 encounter with Sunderland, thanks to a late goal from Tammy Abraham. Nottingham Forest also secured a convincing 4-1 win over Burnley, with Morgan Gibbs-White shining with a hat-trick. The Premier League table continues to see intense battles for positions as the season progresses.
