Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh introduced four digital platforms to enhance governance and service delivery in the state. Developed by the Department of Information Technology, these platforms include the Centralised RTI State Portal, e-Seba Manipur, Explore Manipur, and an AI-enabled Scheme Finder.
The Centralised RTI State Portal enables citizens to file and track RTI applications online, aligning with a Supreme Court directive. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability across government departments by integrating 287 units and onboarding 266 Public Information Officers.
e-Seba Manipur, a next-gen service delivery system, offers secure access to various government services, including certificates and employment-related services. It ensures both online and assisted access, benefiting citizens in remote areas. Explore Manipur is a digital platform facilitating effective exploration of the state, offering features like smart search and detailed information on tourism, markets, and government services.
The AI-enabled Scheme Finder assists citizens in identifying suitable government schemes by analyzing user inputs and recommending relevant schemes. These digital initiatives reflect the state government’s commitment to leveraging technology for improved governance, service delivery, and citizen empowerment.
