Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh reaffirmed his government’s dedication to the state’s progress and welfare during a gathering in Bishnupur district. He announced the initiation of construction on the Moirang to Wangoo road via Kumbi within 15 days. Additionally, work on the Napat Bridge is set to start soon and finish in five days.
Singh instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur to provide a status report on prefabricated housing for Internally Displaced Persons in the district. He was warmly welcomed by residents of Thanga Assembly Constituency, promising to address their concerns and support the constituency’s growth. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to BJP members and locals for their warm reception.
In a social media post, CM Singh highlighted the importance of enhancing grassroots connections and organizational unity. He emphasized the need to clean phumdis in Loktak Lake for the well-being of fishermen and farmers. Singh reiterated his commitment to infrastructure development for a prosperous Manipur as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
