Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited various locations in Senapati district to assess ongoing development projects and engage with residents and civil society organizations. This project aims to enhance water availability in the area and benefit 27 neighboring villages. During the visit, the Mao Council and Poumai Naga Union (PNU) presented development demands to the chief minister. In response to a proposal for a Multipurpose Skill Training Center at Mao, Khemchand Singh assured that the matter would be considered by the state Cabinet.
Accompanied by several legislators and government officials, the chief minister assured the landowners of the government potato farm that their concerns would be addressed through discussions with relevant departments.
