The upcoming Indian Idol episode will feature Manoj Muntashir discussing the inception of title songs in Hindi cinema. He revealed that Shankar–Jaikishan created the first title song in Hindi cinema for the film Barsaat in 1949. Manoj highlighted the significance of title songs in recent movies like I Hate Luv Storys and Pathaan.

Manoj mentioned his own contributions to title songs and praised the legendary music duo Shankar–Jaikishan for their influential work in Hindi cinema during the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Their iconic compositions like ‘Awara Hoon’ and ‘Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua’ are still cherished by many fans. Indian Idol judges Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal, and Badhshah were amazed by this revelation.
