Marathi actress Rinku Rajguru, known for her role in the movie “Sairat,” visited the Srivari temple in Tirumala on her birthday. Accompanied by her family, she offered prayers at the temple and received blessings. Rajguru, who won the Smita Patil Best Actress Award for her role in “Asha,” interacted with fans and posed for pictures during her visit.

The Srivari Temple in Tirumala is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Rajguru, who made her debut with “Sairat” in 2016, has also appeared in digital and Bollywood films. She starred in “Hundred” in 2020, “200 Halla Ho” in 2021, and made her Bollywood debut with “Jhund” in 2022. In 2023, she found success with the film “Jhimma 2,” directed by Hemant Dhome.

Rajguru’s work in the movie “Asha,” directed by Deepak Patil, addresses themes of patriarchy and superstitions affecting women’s rights and health. The film portrays the challenges faced by an ASHA health worker in asserting her agency amidst societal constraints.
