A medical check-up camp took place at the Gujarat Legislative Assembly for legislators and journalists, offering allopathic, ayurvedic, and homoeopathic health services. The camp was inaugurated by Speaker Shankar Chaudhary and State Health Minister Praful Pansheriya. Chaudhary stressed the importance of preventive health measures, highlighting the need for early disease detection through regular check-ups.
The Speaker acknowledged the significant roles played by legislators and journalists in society, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good health due to their demanding work environments. Praful Pansheriya mentioned that the camp aimed to raise health awareness among public representatives and journalists, helping in the early identification of health issues. Kishor Anjaria, President of the Gandhinagar Accredited Press Club, underlined the club’s efforts over the years to promote public health awareness through such medical camps.
Specialist doctors conducted various tests at the camp, including blood analysis, urine reports, and ECGs. Patients needing further examinations were referred to GMERS Medical College in Gandhinagar. The event saw the presence of heart specialists, cancer specialists, kidney specialists, and other medical professionals with necessary equipment. Additionally, laboratory facilities were set up on-site to facilitate comprehensive testing.
