More than 92% of businesses using Meta’s platforms in India are micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as stated by the US-based tech giant. Meta recently gathered around 350 entrepreneurs from Northeast India to demonstrate how digital tools are aiding local businesses in expanding their presence and driving growth. Entrepreneurs are increasingly leveraging Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to attract customers, enhance brand visibility, and boost revenues, even with limited resources.
AI-driven solutions like Meta’s Advantage+ suite and generative AI tools are assisting businesses in automating campaign creation, enhancing marketing effectiveness, and streamlining creative processes. These advancements are making sophisticated advertising tools accessible to businesses of all sizes. Moreover, WhatsApp is emerging as a crucial business platform, with over 2 lakh small Indian businesses utilizing Click-to-WhatsApp ads monthly to engage with customers, generate leads, and boost sales.
Meta emphasized the significance of features like product catalogs, quick replies, labels, and personalized messaging in enabling businesses to offer swift and tailored customer experiences while enhancing operational efficiency. A study commissioned by Meta revealed that 97% of users watch videos daily on Meta platforms, with 73% of rural users discovering new products and brands through these channels. Additionally, Meta platforms influence product discovery for 81% of users and purchase decisions for 47%, indicating the rising impact of digital platforms in India’s consumer market.
The tech company reaffirmed its dedication to supporting businesses of all sizes in adopting digital tools and AI solutions as India’s digital economy progresses.
