Minimum Temperatures Improve in Jammu and Kashmir

The minimum temperatures in Jammu and Kashmir saw a slight improvement, with Srinagar recording minus 1.6 degrees Celsius. Other areas like Gulmarg recorded minus 7.6 and Pahalgam minus 7.2 due to partial cloud cover during the night.
In Jammu city, the temperature was 8.7 degrees Celsius, while Katra town recorded 6.2 degrees. Batote saw 3.1 degrees, Banihal 2.3, and Bhaderwah minus 2.6 as the lowest temperature of the night.
The Meteorological Department predicts cold, cloudy, and mostly dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir until January 20, with light snowfall possible in higher areas due to Western Disturbances.
