The event will see collective participation from the Union Minister’s residence, emphasizing the Ministry’s dedication to setting an example and promoting wellness through yoga. This initiative is crafted to highlight the universal appeal of yoga and its increasing recognition as a potent tool for enhancing holistic health and well-being. By engaging a large audience, the event intends to reinforce the message of yoga as a lifestyle that transcends cultural, geographical, and linguistic barriers.
Scheduled from 6.15 a.m. to 7.35 a.m., the online yoga session anticipates involvement from over 130 countries, marking it as one of the most extensive global digital yoga gatherings to date. Participants from various demographics and regions will come together in a shared commitment to health, harmony, and wellness. This event is a significant part of the pre-International Day of Yoga 2026 outreach efforts, leveraging digital platforms to expand yoga’s global reach and promote public engagement with the practice.
