The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will have a dedicated pavilion at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, focusing on “AI for Inclusive Development.” This move aims to emphasize the importance of skilling in India’s AI journey. The summit, a significant AI event in the Global South, will bring together global leaders and technology experts.
Welcoming the summit, Jayant Singh Chaudhary, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, highlighted India’s commitment to shaping a responsible and inclusive AI future. The MSDE pavilion will showcase initiatives such as SOAR for AI readiness and National Skills Qualifications Framework-aligned job roles. It will offer interactive experiences to demonstrate how AI skills can benefit individuals from diverse backgrounds.
The pavilion will focus on skilling in AI, skilling with AI, and skilling for AI. Skilling with AI will showcase how AI is revolutionizing skill development processes. Systems like the Skill India Assistant will provide personalized career guidance, while AI-powered tools will enhance skill certification processes. These efforts aim to integrate AI into skill development to enhance outcomes and quality.
Skilling for AI will demonstrate how AI can enhance workforce productivity across various sectors. Through practical examples, the pavilion will illustrate how different professionals, including farmers and construction workers, can benefit from AI-driven tools. This showcases that AI is not limited to specific industries but can boost productivity and incomes across various sectors.
Minister of State Chaudhary will engage with global tech leaders and industry partners during the summit to strengthen collaborations in AI skilling and digital inclusion. He is scheduled to visit the MSDE Pavilion on February 17 to interact with participants and review AI-enabled skilling solutions.
