The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment introduced two enhanced digital tools at the Chintan Shivir in Chandigarh. These tools, the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) 2.0 App and the SMILE–Beggary Survey Mobile Application, aim to bolster India’s efforts in drug control and beggary-rehabilitation programs.
The NMBA 2.0 App serves as a centralized digital platform for states, districts, and stakeholders to enhance real-time reporting, monitoring, and coordination among implementing agencies at various levels. It focuses on promoting transparency, accountability, and data-driven governance.
The upgraded NMBA App offers authorized users a consolidated dashboard for uploading and tracking activities under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. It provides essential resources like Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, aiding in awareness campaigns led by Nasha Mukti Mitras.
