“Mirzapur” film shoot wraps up, cast and crew celebrate

The filming for the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of the hit series “Mirzapur” has been completed. Actress Shweta Tripathi marked the end of the shoot by sharing a photo of the clapperboard on social media with the caption, “Mirzapur The Film Wrapped.” The entire cast and crew also gathered for a group picture to commemorate the occasion.

The film’s team has been actively sharing updates from the shoot on social media, generating more excitement for the much-talked-about project. Shweta Tripathi, who plays Golu Gupta in the series, expressed gratitude for the character, mentioning how it has given her a voice, strength, and identity.

Shweta Tripathi emphasized the significant impact of her role in “Mirzapur” on her career, stating that it has influenced the perception of her by the audience and the type of projects she is involved in. She expressed her enthusiasm for bringing the beloved characters and world of “Mirzapur” to the big screen, especially reuniting with the cast, including Ali Fazal.

The movie adaptation, titled “Mirzapur: The Movie,” directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced by Excel Entertainment, features the original series cast, including Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, Shweta Tripathi, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. Additionally, new faces like Sonal Chouhan, Jitendra Kumar, and Ravi Kishan will be introduced to the world of “Mirzapur.”
