Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar, recently shared a heartwarming incident from the Miss World finals. She helped Miss South Africa, Adè van Heerden, by offering her one of her gowns when Adè faced wardrobe malfunctions just before the competition. Manushi’s gesture of kindness ensured that Adè had a fitting outfit for the finals.
Recalling the chaotic morning before the finals, Manushi described how Adè’s gown ripped during rehearsals, causing stress. Despite having a second outfit, a broken zipper added to Adè’s challenges on the day of the event. Seeing Adè distressed, Manushi selflessly offered her own gown, which fit Adè perfectly and made her look beautiful.
Amidst assisting Adè with the outfit, Manushi ran out of time to do her own makeup for the finals. She managed to apply her makeup on the bus journey to the venue, a moment she fondly remembers and takes pride in. Despite the last-minute rush and challenges, Manushi’s grace and composure led her to win the coveted Miss World title, bringing honor to her country.
