Actress Mona Singh is preparing for the release of her upcoming series ‘Maa Ka Sum’ and highlights the blend of humor and emotion in her character’s portrayal. Directed by Nicholas Kharkongor, the show delves into the life of a math prodigy exploring love through equations, realizing emotions do not always align with logic.

The series trailer introduces Agastya, a 19-year-old math prodigy, embarking on a mission to find a partner for his single mother, Vinita, played by Mona Singh. The narrative unfolds with a mix of logic and emotion as planned equations begin to unravel in this fast-paced journey.

Mona Singh, portraying Vinita, expressed her excitement for the unique story, emphasizing the refreshing nature of her character. She praised the series for its balance of humor and emotion, presenting a warm and relatable tale that resonates with genuine relationships. ‘Maa Ka Sum’ is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 3, offering a distinct perspective on love and family dynamics.

Mihir Ahuja, who plays Agastya, highlighted the character’s love for his mother and their special bond rooted in friendship and warmth. He shared his experience of portraying Agastya, emphasizing the character’s determination to find love for his mother through mathematical solutions. The Prime Video Original series, produced by Babita Ashiwal, is scheduled for release in Hindi with subtitles in regional languages on April 3.
