Moroccan striker Alaaeddine Ajaraie has left NorthEast United to play for Persija Jakarta on loan for the rest of the 2025-26 Indian Super League season. Ajaraie, who previously signed with NorthEast United from FAR Rabat in August 2024, was the top scorer in the 2024/2025 ISL season with 23 goals and seven assists, earning him the Player of the Season title. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in nine matches, showcasing his prowess as a key striker.
