Mortal remains of three individuals from Andhra Pradesh, who lost their lives in a boat accident in Vietnam, have been repatriated. The bodies of Mudiam Sreedhar, Gelli Jayalakshmi, and Ravi Teja arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. The families received the bodies after legal formalities were completed in Mumbai.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Kondapalli Srinivas extended his condolences and support to the grieving families. The bodies were flown from Mumbai to Hyderabad via an IndiGo flight. Minister Srinivas personally supervised the arrangements to transport the remains to their hometowns.
The Andhra Pradesh government facilitated free ambulance services to transport the bodies to the victims’ villages. The deceased Telugu tourists’ remains arrived at the Mumbai International Air Cargo Terminal on Monday night. The Ministry of Civil Aviation, along with other agencies, coordinated the swift completion of all formalities.
