Radha Devi Saraogi, the mother of Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi, passed away at the age of 72 in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital after being unwell for a few days. Known for her religious devotion and social work, her demise has deeply saddened her family, well-wishers, and the political community.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary expressed their heartfelt condolences over Radha Devi Saraogi’s passing. Chief Minister Kumar described her as a kind-hearted woman dedicated to social service and prayed for her soul’s eternal peace and her family’s strength.
Deputy CM Chaudhary conveyed his sadness over the loss, offering prayers for the departed soul to find peace and for the family to find solace. Sanjay Saraogi, an influential leader in Bihar’s Mithilanchal region, was recently appointed as the state president of the BJP, having been elected as an MLA in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
Family members are returning to Bihar from Mumbai with Radha Devi Saraogi’s mortal remains, which will be cremated later in the day on the banks of the Bagmati River, following family traditions.
