Mumbai Indians Women post 154/5 against Delhi Capitals in Women’s Premier League match

An unbeaten 65 runs by Nat Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur’s 41 helped Mumbai Indians reach 154/5 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League match. Sciver-Brunt’s innings turned the game around for Mumbai Indians after a shaky start, with her aggressive play pushing the team past 150.

Delhi Capitals initially dominated, with Marizanne Kapp and Nandani Sharma striking early to put Mumbai at 23/2 in six overs. However, Mumbai gradually recovered, reaching 100 in 13.6 overs with Sciver-Brunt scoring a half-century off 34 balls. Harmanpreet Kaur’s 41 and Sciver-Brunt’s partnership added crucial runs before Kaur’s dismissal.

In the final overs, Mumbai Indians accelerated, scoring 42 runs in the last five overs to finish at 154/5. Despite Shree Charani’s impressive bowling for Delhi Capitals, Mumbai managed a competitive total led by Sciver-Brunt’s unbeaten 65.
