A tragic incident of murder in Patna’s Lalbagh area has caused shock and anger. Criminals broke into a house and attacked a couple, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Mohammad Nawaz and leaving his wife, Nazia Parveen, critically injured. She is currently receiving treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital in critical condition. The perpetrators fled the scene after committing the crime.

Locals expressed their outrage by staging a protest on Ashok Rajpath, where they placed the victim’s body on the road and set objects on fire. The protest led to significant traffic disruptions in the area. The demonstrators demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits and the harshest punishment possible. They also urged Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary to ensure justice for the victim’s family.

The incident took place in Lalbagh along Ashok Rajpath. According to an official from Pirbahore police station, Mohammad Nawaz was a tenant living in a house owned by Sarfaraz Alam. The attackers climbed to the third floor and assaulted Nawaz with knives in his room. Nawaz, who worked as a salesman at a Patna mall, was allegedly targeted due to prior harassment, as claimed by his elder brother.
