Music composer and producer Abhijit Vaghani, known for his work in Bollywood over 27 years, shared insights on the distinctions between creating mainstream commercial music and independent music. Vaghani highlighted that while film music involves creative constraints, independent music offers more artistic freedom. He expressed that composing within the structured boundaries of commercial music presents unique challenges, whereas indie music allows for unrestricted creativity.

He emphasized that film music often revolves around common themes like love, sadness, celebrations, or travel, providing a familiar framework for composers.
