The team behind director Rawindra Pulle’s upcoming action thriller “Mysaa” has completed shooting a significant underwater scene with lead actress Rashmika Mandanna. Producer Ajay Saipureddy confirmed the wrap-up of the exciting underwater sequence through his Instagram stories. Recently, the film made headlines when the director shared a picture of himself wearing a shirt with Rashmika’s hand imprints, hinting at intense action ahead.
The production house, Unformula Films, emphasized the dedication of Rashmika Mandanna, stating that she brings raw emotion and brilliance to the screen like never before. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the movie, set to release in 2026. Rashmika Mandanna, in response to the director’s post, humorously suggested adding blood and umber powder to her art in the future.
Director Rawindra Pulle had previously announced the completion of a song shoot for “Mysaa” just ten days ago. The song, featuring Rashmika Mandanna and choreographed by Brinda, was celebrated with a post on social media. Rashmika had earlier shared updates on the film’s progress, including the successful completion of a schedule in Kerala, thanking the hardworking unit members.
Sources revealed that stunt master Kecha Khampakdi orchestrated high-energy action sequences for the film, shot during the Kerala schedule. Rashmika Mandanna underwent intensive training in Bangkok for these sequences, training rigorously for over eight hours daily. In “Mysaa,” Rashmika portrays a tribal Gond girl, requiring both emotional depth and physical prowess in her performance.
Apart from Rashmika Mandanna, the film stars Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles. The cinematography is handled by Shreyaas P Krishna, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy. International stunt choreographer Andy Long is overseeing the action sequences for this highly anticipated project.
